Use Facebook for good not for evil.

Facebook (FB) has never got the credit it deserves. In fact it is known as procrastination, which basically means counterproductive. Though many people find it a waste of time if used at the right time and in the right manner Facebook be can be a lot beneficial. Try some of these tips to use Facebook for good and not for evil.

  • Use Facebook as a distraction only on occasion. Its always fine to take short breaks from a hectic schedule to just sit down relax and surf a bit on Facebook, everyone I entitled to a small mental break. Taking a quick look at Facebook can be a good way to feel like you’re connected to the outside world after being locked up doing whatever task you may be doing. At the same time don’t get carried away, it’s just a way to break your mental break.

  • Don’t get too involved in the Facebook game apps. Beware of these nasty “time-swallower”. Almost all of these applications are useless and a huge waste of time. Not only do they waste your time they do the same for your friends also, no one wants to see foolish feeds like “Emma just found a lost cat on her farm!” to be honest these are useless application. Don’t waste your time on such worthless application. Such meaningless applications they are simply addictive and you end up spending more time than what is needed on such social networking sites.

  • Don’t start fights. You can end up using facebook for the evil by stupidly commenting in a negative manner on your friend’s posts. It for sure is tacky to start a fight over such a petty issue. If not for this just remember that everyone on facebook can see each and every detail of your fight.

  • Don’t use facebook to make friends you barely know. This is something which is best when avoided, it sounds so creepy to add someone who makes people say “Do I know you?” Such actions are not safe cause when you add someone to your friends list you end up giving complete access to your information like your address, your phone number, your pictures etc; you never know how this person might use your information. Add people you know like your colleagues, school friends, family etc.

  • Don’t post notes, pictures if you are not comfortable with everyone viewing it. Avoiding posting thing and tagging specific people on them as no matter how much you try everyone can view them under your recent posts. Remember anything you post on the internet is subject to viewing by everyone.

Now thats what i got to say about Facebook, Enjoy using it and use for the good :)
